I was roaming a little indie festival a few weekends in my local town and I came across the most sweetest college student named Andrea!! (Yes, I loved her even more because well, you know, we rock the same name!!) She had set up her own unique vintage booth with the most random textures, textiles and fabrics. She also has her own vintage Etsy shop, and does this in her free time to get a little extra cash all while attending Stetson University!! After looking for something black, (’cause my blood runs black and all) I came across this gem!!
Its by a company called Hana Sung which was trademarked and developed in 1986 in NYC. Popular to many fashionistas then, and now has found its way into many vintage shops and Etsy accounts.
I purchased this dress for $5- thats right $5!!! Can’t beat that price, even after flipping through ANY clearance rack!! This dress 100% polyester with the perfect antique gold buttons. Its a size 8P- a little too big for me yet, but I love the way it fits my little petite body!!
All in all, I must say this was an awesome, one of a kind vintage find, and will make a beautiful addition to my all black closet!!
Check out Andrea’s Etsy page here, and don’t forget to like her IG account as well @vintagecandela!!
