My Homemade Granola

Fall is in the air… well sorta. In florida we will have a few leaves that will fall and eventually it will get below 65 degree weather in which everyone will be in their favorite sweaters and drink pumpkin coffee.

I have been making this granola for a few months now. Its healthy alternative to store bought, which can be pumped with high fructose corn syrup and other preservatives. You can add or omit anything you’d like to best suit your taste!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups oats
  • 1 cup cashews
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 cups sweetened coconut
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chip (optional)
  • 1/2 cup dried mixed berries (optional)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350-375 degrees. Mix dry ingredients then wet. Place the combined ingredients on a lightly coated greased baking sheet and cook for 20 minutes, rotating the pan to prevent burning.

I added in a few white chocolate chips and dried berries to half the batch to change up the flavor!! I hope you enjoy making this, let me know if you did!!
